The Llangollen Railway
SR 'West Country' 7P5F Bulleid Light Pacific 4-6-2 34092 Wells is seen at work on the Llangollen Railway between Llangollen and Carrog on 11th March 2015 during a photo charter organised by Richard Newton / 3P20 Photo Charters. Note the ex LNER 'Elizabethan' coach No. 1706, one of two designed by Thompson for the new 'Flying Scotsman' set and consequently used on the 'Elizabethan' train from 1953, which ran non-stop between Kings Cross and Edinburgh. No. 1706 is the sole survivor, and one of only six post-war Thompson coaches to survive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oz38w7DYIXc
