SR 'Battle of Britain' 7P5F 4-6-2 34053 Sir Keith Park is seen in action on the Swanage Railway during the highly successful 'Strictly Bulleid' steam gala that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the end of steam on the South Region. Normally based on the Severn Valley Railway, 34053 Sir Keith Park was built at Brighton Works in 1946 and was initially allocated to Salisbury, before being allocated to Stewarts Lane shed in London, where she worked the prestigious 'Golden Arrow.' In 1960, she was transferred to Bournemouth, where she worked the 'Pines Express' via the lamented Somerset & Dorset route over the Mendips, before being withdrawn in October 1966.

SR 'West Country' 7P5F Bulleid Light Pacific 4-6-2 34092 Wells is seen at work on the Llangollen Railway between Llangollen and Carrog on 11th March 2015 during a photo charter organised by Richard Newton / 3P20 Photo Charters. Note the ex LNER 'Elizabethan' coach No. 1706, one of two designed by Thompson for the new 'Flying Scotsman' set and consequently used on the 'Elizabethan' train from 1953, which ran non-stop between Kings Cross and Edinburgh.
