No. 9 Winston Churchill
RHDR Canadian style 4-6-2 Pacific No. 9 Winston Churchill is seen in action on the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway on 27th August 2013. No. 9 Winston Churchill arrived on the railway in 1931, and was built by no less than three locomotive builders, being initially started by Davey Paxman, before using a boiler supplied by Krauss of Munich, finally being finished by the Yorkshire Engine Company. Following a visit to Canada by Howey, the new locomotive was given a Canadian style feel including a 'American' Vanderbilt tender and fantastic Crosby chime whistle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqTu1A7Wewc
