On 4th February 1906 the line was doubled, and it became the junction for a deviation line to St Germans that allowed the removal of the remaining timber viaducts on the Cornish Main Line, with the station closing on 27 October 1930. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITaA1LKNOyc
