Devonport Dockyard Branch
Is this the first GB Railfreight Class 66 to use the Admiralty Branch? GBRf Class 66/7 66775 enters Devonport Naval Base and on to the Devonport Admiralty Branch running as the 0Z31 1130 Westbury - Devonport Royal Dockyard (Drake's Halt) 'light engine' move on 10th July 2017. The move was in connection with 66775 being named 'HMS Argyll' after one of the Royal Navy's Type 23 'Duke' Class Frigates that are based at Devonport the following day.
Another extremely rare piece of footage as DRS Class 66s 66302 + 66431 enter Devonport Dockyard at Keyham Junction as they pass Admiralty Platform at HMS Drake and proceed along the Admiralty's Dockyard Branch running as the 1220 Bridgwater FD - Devonport Royal Dockyard 'light engine' move on 23rd March 2017. The move was undertaken in order to collect a nuclear flask in connection with the Trident refits undertaken at HMRNB Devonport. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZImCC_tvQU
